Year 8 Graffiti Art - WW1 Centenary Project

Year 8 Graffiti Art - WW1 Centenary Project

Year 8 Graffiti Art - First World War Centenary Project

The Visual Arts and Performing Art Faculty at City of London Academy (Southwark) had the pleasure of hosting a series of three creative graffiti art workshops run by graffiti artist James Titchner, hosted here at the Academy.

Year 8 students were asked to produce a piece of creative graffiti artwork on canvas to commemorate the First World War Centenary. The theme of the project is simply "Thank you".

The year 8 student's artwork will be auctioned off and the money raised will be donated to the Royal British Legion and the Chelsea Pensioners.

The students really enjoyed the workshops and were pleased to honour the memory of such a important occasion, whilst contributing to such good causes.
