A cast of thousands...no not quite, but there are a lot of Cola students working behind the scenes; designing and making the set and props, the fab costumes, great lighting and fantastic music; as well as performing on stage. Cola students are involved in everything. The set has been designed by Lucy Hodges and Mick Gomez along with help from Vanessa Richie-Suarez and Tobi Bello, who have been painting the scenery. The hardest bit has been getting the door just right. The dancers and singers who are playing the T Birds and Pink Ladies have been rehearsing their dance moves – learning how to jitterbug and hand-jive along to the classic tracks like Hound Dog (originally an Elvis song), and Hopelessly Devoted to You - a No.1 in 1978 for Olivia Newton-John. Come along and see this brilliant show, the result of hard work put in by over 80 pupils!
