On Saturday 14th November, the Academy took part in the Lord Mayor’s Parade through the City of London. Despite blustery and wet weather the Parade was great success, and provided fun and entertainment for everyone who came. The students had been working hard for weeks on preparing their float and costumes, and our giant dragon took pride of place in the centre of the float. Surrounded by a collection of City of London Buildings, she paraded down Poultry and Cheapside to cheers and applause from the spectators. Thanks go to everyone in the Art, Drama, Design & Technology and Music departments for their hard work, with special thanks to the Senior Vice Principal, Mr Davies, for co-ordinating the whole project and making the magic happen.
