Grocers Academy Awards 2015/16

A team of 6 Year 13 students devised a Business plan and presented to a VIP room of Guests at the prestigious Grocers hall on 21st October 2015.
 
The concept looked to improve the quality of Londoners lives.  The group created a Business called Aqua Point, A business venture that intends to build and introduce a modern hygienic water fountain system on the streets of London.
The City of London Academy team were up against a team of students from Chelsea Academy and Mossbourne Academy.  
The room had a number of VIP judges from the world of industry, including Tim CampbellMBE  who is an English businessman best known as the winner of the first series of the British version of The Apprentice, where he 'WAS HIRED' by Sir Alan Sugar.
 
Students gave an exceptional presentation and came second in the competition.  
 
In recognition of their outstanding delivery, the team were invited to attend a dinner at Mansion house in January.  Additionally the students involved have been invited to engage with a number of work experience and apprenticeship opportunities at various companies who observed their presentation at the Grocers Hall.
