A record 76% of students achieved 5 A*-C passes including English and Mathematics which is a eight percentage point increase on last year’s award winning set of results. There was also a 10% increase in pupils achieving the challenging English Baccalaureate measure.

There were outstanding results across the curriculum and almost 20% of pupils achieved 8 A*- A grades.

The Academy’s results buck the national trend which has seen a decline in overall results.
