Freedom of the City for our former Head Boy Alei Wol

Former head boy Alei Wol was last week awarded Freedom of the City at a ceremony conducted by Deputy Clerk of the Chamberlain's Court, Laura Miller, assisted by the Court Beadle, Ernest Brocklehurst.
Alei was nominated by our Governors Andrew McMurtrie, JP and Deputy William Fraser, OBE, both of whom are (City of London Corporation) Court of Common Councilmen.
Head of School, Marcus Huntley says: "We congratulate Alei, this is such an honour and we are very proud of our former pupil."
This was not Alei’s first visit to the Guildhall – he met John Amaechi, OBE, a former professional Basketball player when John became a Freeman of the City in 2015 (see photo below).
