Applying for a place to join COLA Southwark
Applications for places at the academy will be made in accordance with Southwark’s coordinated admissions arrangement via the London-wide eAdmissions website. The key dates in the timetable for applications may vary year-on-year, however it is likely that late October will continue to be the application deadline. There will no longer be any banding tests to enter the academy.

COLA Southwark offers a number of open evenings and mornings for local families in the autumn term each year. We recommend booking a place in advance.
Information and Technology Aptitude Test
City of London Academy specialises in Business and Enterprise, also known as Information Technology. Prospective students can complete an online Information and Technology Aptitude Test that evaluates their aptitude for Information Technology. 10% of pupils (up to 24 in total) will be admitted on the basis of an assessed aptitude in Information Technology, in line with the academy specialism.

Attend our open evening
We hold an open evening and open morning during the autumn term each year for prospective students and families.
Apply to join COLA Southwark
You must apply to join COLA Southwark by the end of October deadline to submit an in-time application. All applications must be made through the eAdmissions website.
Places are offered on National Offer Day in March
Offers of secondary school places will be made at the beginning of March for the following September. Places must be accepted or declined within a two-week period from the offer day.
