Here at City of London Academy Southwark Sixth Form (CoLA6) we are determined that all students studying at CoLA6 will go on to achieve both their academic and personal potential. We know that achieving strong grades is important to you, but we want to ensure that you also Explore Life; Discover Opportunities; Achieve Excellence.
We focus on helping you develop your own personal vision, encouraging you to aim high. We support you in developing the skills and attitude that will help you achieve your ambition. We will provide you with a wide and varied range of opportunities that will allow you to explore many different aspects of life in order for you to discover what really excites you.
Our Sixth Form team sees your personal development and happiness as central to your success and we will help you balance the demands of academic study with your personal development and well-being. We also understand that life throws up unexpected challenges and we strongly encourage you to let us know if this happens to you so that we can do all we can to support you.
It is also important that you do not place limits on what you can achieve. The students that are the most successful are those that quickly learn that there is no easy route to success. We will provide a structure that challenges you to do your best day in day out, alongside a culture of ambition, community and personal growth that will ensure that you will be proud of your achievements at CoLA6.
